“The biggest benefit was having the opportunity to practice real middle school skills in a fun, hands-on environment. The locker and combination lock practice, organization challenges, transitions, and time management activities helped build confidence and feel more prepared for middle school. The problem solving and teamwork activities were a big hit for my kiddo, such as the egg drop challenge, the rabbit run experiment, and the escape room. They provided opportunities to practice communicating, persevering, and working through frustration. I also really liked the focus on understanding the connection between the brain, body, emotions, and actions and giving the kids strategies they can use to reset and refocus.”
