Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy for living with an unpredictable body
Support is provided by personalized occupational therapy for teens and adults navigating POTS, chronic illness, and other challenges that affect everyday functioning. Chronic conditions can affect much more than physical symptoms. Enrichment Groups
Real-time practice for everyday life
Local enrichment groups are typically offered as six-week classes, giving tweens and teens opportunities to build executive function, self-regulation, problem-solving, and independence through hands-on activities and real-world challenges. Participants are given the chance to practice as they plan, organize, make decisions, manage time, navigate challenges, adapt when things do not go as expected, and collaborate with others.
Groups are intentionally kept small, creating a supportive and accepting space where different brains, bodies, strengths, and needs are welcomed. Activities are designed with flexibility so participants can discover strategies that work for them while building awareness, confidence, and greater independence in everyday life.
Offered locally in Upper Montgomery County, Maryland.
